When installing Checkout Pro (Mercado Pago Checkout Pro), you may experience an increase in the approval rate of your online store sales. This is because buyers will be able to pay using a Mercado Pago account, and the entire checkout process will be conducted in our environment, facilitating the payment process. At the end of the transaction, these buyers are redirected to the store environment.

To install Mercado Pago Checkout Pro on your Shopify store, follow these steps:

1. Go to the admin panel of your Shopify store.
2. Click on Settings.

3. In the menu, click on Payments.
4. Under "Accepted payment methods," click on Add payment method.

5. In the Search by provider tab, look for the app "Mercado Pago Checkout Pro" and select it.

6. After selecting it, click on Install.

7. Carefully read the information about the requested permissions and click Install again.

8. Click on Manage account to link your Mercado Pago account to your store using your credentials.

9. In a new tab of your browser, go to Your integrations and select your application to copy your credentials. If you haven't created an application yet, access the developer Dashboard documentation to learn how to do it.
10. Click on Production credentials. The credentials may be hidden for security reasons. To view them, locate the eye icon and click on it. Copy the credentials (Public Key and Access Token).

11. Return to your Shopify store settings and enter your production credentials (Public Key and Access Token) in the corresponding fields, making sure not to reverse the fields when copying and pasting the credentials.

12. Click Save credentials.

13. Finally, click on Verify activation.

14. Go to the Settings section and click on Activate to complete the installation.
