Prerequisites
To configure the integration of Mercado Pago in VTEX stores, you need to meet the following requirements.
| Requirements | Description |
| VTEX Account | To integrate Mercado Pago solutions, you need to have a VTEX account. If you don't have one, go to VTEX and select your country from the country menu located in the top right corner of the screen. |
| Mercado Pago seller account | To make sales, you need a seller account on Mercado Pago. If you don't have one, click here to create one. |
| Credentials | The credentials are unique passwords that we use to identify an integration in your account and they serve to securely capture payments in online stores and other applications. You will need test credentials to test the integration and production credentials to receive real payments. |
| Mercado Pago Payment APP | Make sure in your VTEX app store that the Mercado Pago Payment APP is installed. If it is not, you can request its installation through a ticket in Support VTEX. |
